4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chocolate chips (I skipped)
1 cup chopped nuts
In a large saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in sugar until blended. Stir in eggs, one at a time and vanilla. Mix in flour. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes. Cool.
